Directing/producing team Shari Robertson & Michael Camerini share a commitment to making films about ideas and the cross-cultural links that unite people - films that challenge, provoke, dissect, yet stay close and human.

They have created prize-winning documentaries across a broad range of subjects and locations, from film festival hits (Well-Founded Fear, Born Again) to prime-time television investigations (Inside the Khmer Rouge, Washington/Peru: We Ain't Winnin', Kamala and Raji, Return to Year Zero) to multi-camera expedition projects (a live broadcast from the rainforest canopy in Belize for The Jason Project) to in-depth projects in the developing world (the PBS series, Local Heroes, Global Change).

The pair have worked in several dozen countries and in remarkable collaborations with scholars and thinkers. Two recent projects, These Girls Are Missing, (now translated into seven African languages) and the unprecedented documentary feature, Well-Founded Fear, (nationally broadcast by PBS and carried world-wide and domestically by CNN) have both been cited for bringing a new and provocative approach to examining emotional and difficult subjects embedded in public policy debates.

Wherever their subjects take them for filming, Robertson and Camerini develop projects through their non-profit production company, The Epidavros Project Inc., in New York City.
